A "Debop" is a personalized playlist experience crafted by one of our brilliant music curators. Each playlist is based on the answers of an in-depth questionnaire, and includes custom liner notes that break down and contextualize each track choice (we like to show our work!).

Each Debop is delivered via email as a unique, password-protected URL. Here's what a 10-song Debop looks like.

You (or your giftee) will receieve an in-depth questionnaire that acts as a road map for our music experts. Based on the answers provided, your curator will tap into their extensive music knowledge to craft your playlist and write personalized liner notes breaking down each song choice. Our process is 100% human, totally subjective, time-intensive, and results in a one-of-a-kind music experience.

With every Debop, we strive to deliver the most thoughtful listening experience; as a result, hours of research, curation, and writing go into crafting each playlist package, and we want to properly compensate our curators for their time and expertise.

Your private, password-protected Debop page stays active for one year upon delivery, after which it will be archived. Your Spotify playlist will remain active indefinitely, though you always have the option of copying the songs into your own playlist.

Of course! Though your Debop is uniquely crafted for you, once it’s in your hands you’re free to share it with whomever you like! We only ask that the playlists are not used for any business or commercial-related uses, as outlined in our Terms of Service.

We use Spotify as our default curation platform, but if you use a different streaming platform just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate! If you don’t have a Spotify account, we would recommend signing up for a free account in order to listen to the playlist.

We also include direct links to artist sites with each song, as we firmly believe in supporting artists directly whenever possible.

We LOVE putting together cocktail and dinner playlists for weddings! It's a perfect way to not only set the mood and keep the good vibes flowing, but to also incorporate songs that are meaningful to you and your partner.

When it comes to the dance party portion of your wedding, we recommend finding an live DJ who can "read the room" in real time. Trust us, it makes a HUGE difference!

At this time, we only offer playlists for personal, non-commercial/business use.
