If you were to start a cover band with this person, what's the first song you'd choose to cover - and why?
Nothing Can Change this Love - Sam Cooke. We just love this song, we sing it when it comes on, and it makes me think of her when I'm not with her.
What do they like to do for fun?
Ruby loves to "shmy" her own made up word of pseudo-yiddish origins. To her it means something between searching, shopping, and exploring -- not always buying, but always taking photos and curating. I think she likes hiking, but then again that could be me dragging her along (: She loves the sun, she claims she's a lizzard (maybe she was in another life, who knows.)
Ruby will go for a walk in the sun with her shades on, strolling along to get a coffee at her favorite coffee shops, sometimes passing 2 or 3 along the way. She is stubborn in this way, and to be perfectly honest, is something I really love about her.
She loves ceramics, cute shops and restaurants, taking photos, art - painting and museums, diners, designer purses, and quality time.
Describe your favorite shared memory with this person
When Ruby and I first started dating, maybe a month in, I was in her apartment, distracted by something else, and she put on this pajama set that was a leopard print top and bottom. I turned around, saw her in it, and couldn't hold back an uproarious laugh. I think I even blurted out, something to the effect of "Tarzan!" I then proceeded to pull out my camera, and bombard her with a spontaneous photo shoot, all while holding back laughter. I chased her around her apartment taking photos, holding her, and just laughing until I couldn't breathe -- don't worry, she was laughing too. I remember putting my camera down, and wrapping my arms around her as she moisturized her face getting ready for bed. I looked at her in the mirror, and knew from that moment I was in love. We still look back to this night as one of lots of laughs, and just fun.
Are there any particular artists or genres they don't like (that you know of)?
Ruby's very open. She even likes some (not all) of the rap I play in the car (Kendrick and Kanye are cool, but maybe Da Baby, and Maxo Cream are too much lol)

If I have control, Ultralight Beam, her, maybe What a Pleasure - Beach Fossils
What song would you pick to cheer this person up?
Ruby by Kaiser Chiefs - I played this a lot, like too much, when we first started dating, and I'd belt out the "Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby" chorus, and she'd laugh at how silly I was. I think this would still work (:

Tough one, maybe something Kanye, or something from Get Rich or Die Trying. She loves a throw back jam

Her friends / family - she's the absolute sweetest, healthy eating - she loves a salad (even for breakfast), and her physical space - she loves to curate a chic home
What would you and this person most likely be doing on a typical Saturday night?
We'd probably start the evening with some orange wine at home, maybe we'd cook or try a new restaurant, and then we'd likely come back, cuddle, and binge whatever show we're watching. The Sopprano's binge was a religious experience for us. We also love to kibbitz with our friends, and will sometimes get a group together for dinner or drinks.
If you were to cook a dish with this person, what dish would it be and why?
A mustard glazed baked salmon, home-made caesar salad, and some roasted veggies. It's her favorite. If Ruby was a dish she'd be a little gem salad with a roasted sweet potato.
You're both starring in a TV show together - what's the theme song?
Ooh, tough one. I'm really not sure. Maybe some kind of early 2000's hip hop song? Or maybe a Gil-scott Heron song, I think we both listen to this a lot together.
If you could go anywhere in the world with this person, where would that be, and why?
Paris - Ruby and I both love and talk about Paris often, but haven't yet gone together. We both love the city, the food, and the energy. She also loves Berlin, and that's high on our list.
What's a hidden talent or skill of theirs?
Ruby can break someone out of their shell. She lights up the room, and can make even the most shy person reveal their hopes, desires, and dreams. She's amazing.
Is there a theme you'd like this playlist to have?
I'd want it to feel like something that is perfect for a commute, fun, engaging, and motivating, but still could feel relaxing.
What does this person mean to you?
She means the world to me. She's my partner, and I absolutely love her.
